Vacancy Product Manager Microscopy – Frankfurt


14 JUN ’22: For a leading organisation in in-vitro diagnostic solutions, we are looking for a Product Manager Microscopy. With their development and manufacturing sites in Europe, they have a worldwide presence and are known for their immunoassay portfolio. These technologies have an impact on patients as it brings improved diagnostic outcomes in Endocrinology.


As the Product Manager Microscopy, you will be a liaison between R&D, internal stakeholders and the customer. Together with the Product Management department, you will be part of bringing their two latest innovations in Endocrinology to the market. For this, you will translate the technical language from the product development department toward internal/external stakeholders and act as a sparring partner/trainer for potential clients.

Other activities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading the product portfolio;
  • Working on the development of marketing literature;
  • Conducting market research to understand customer needs, potential market size and product strategies;
  • Good understanding of the global market and technological trends to help with product creation and success;
  • Providing day-to-day sales support and be an expert in the clinical use, trends, and published literature of the product line as well as providing product training and support for existing and new products to both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Working with a cross-functional team and a development partner to develop new products;
  • Overseeing product pre-launch, launch, and post-launch operations, as well as external evaluation testing;
  • Identifying key opinion leaders with whom to collaborate as well as reporting to the Senior Global Product Manager on a monthly basis.


The ideal candidate profile looks like this:

  • Master’s degree in science (Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Immunology or equivalent);
  • Experience within the IVD industry (specifically in the field of Endocrinology);
  • Experience in a routine clinical laboratory, especially with automated instrumentation highly desirable;
  • Experience in a commercial position is preferred;
  • Proactive personality;
  • Ability to work from home and travel occasionally when needed.

  • You can expect a competitive primary salary between €50.000,- and €60.000,- per annum.
