Vacancy Quality Complaint Coordinator – Leiden


For a well-known multinational in the medical devices industry we are looking for a Quality Complaint Coordinator who will join the quality & regulatory team. As a Quality Complaint Coordinator you are directly involved with realising this mission.


As a Quality Complaint Coordinator you will handle all product related customer complaints in the EMEA region. Throughout this, you make sure that regulatory requirements are met. Your actions are strongly related to the safety of the patients and therefore this role asks for a strong sense of responsibility.

You will be responsible for:

  • Screening and evaluating customer feedback and complaints and coordinating this with other departments
  • Managing Field (Safety) Corrective Actions (FSCA) and product recalls and the implementation of these actions
  • Staying in close contact with the complainant and facilitating a solution in alignment with other departments
  • Managing escalating cases
  • Managing returns towards the involved stakeholders (e.g. manufacturer)
  • Representing complaints in Audits and within the company
  • Training employees on the complaint process and regulatory requirements


  • Bachelor/Master as a technician, engineer or similar
  • Minimum two years of complaint-related experience (e.g. participation in audits, interaction with suppliers, participation in projects)
  • Highly skilled in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills, also towards customers
  • Able to assess long term impact of decisions
  • Able to explain complex technical situations in simple words
  • Able to confidently present complaint files
