Vacancy Senior Process Engineer – Enkhuizen

For instance the introduction of new plastic extrusion processes and continuously improving activities on existing production processes. You will be part of an ambitious and highly skilled team. By collaborating with Process Engineers from both the Development & Engineering and Operations divisions, you will close the gap between them.

As Senior Process Engineer your job will include but will not be limited to:

  • Lead the Project Core Team as the Senior Process Engineer;
  • Participate actively in project meetings on a regular basis and actively help the project manager by offering pertinent process advice;
  • Lead the process contribution to User Requirements Specifications and Design Qualification;
  • You will apply your Six Sigma skills to execute DOEs that will result in a robust process;
  • Contribute to FMEA;
  • Initial recipe development at commissioning (FAT and SAT), equipment installation and operational qualifications (IQ/OQ) and process validations.


You are someone with at least 5 years of experience in Process Engineering. Preferably with relevant knowledge in injection moulding.

Besides that you have:

  • Strong Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastic Engineering educational background or lengthy relevant industrial experience;
  • Capable to perform process-related calculations/simulations to analyze equipment design;
  • Literate in Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs);
  • Track record in translating product specifications to production process solutions;
  • Strong experience with process lean six sigma methodology (DOE, Root cause analysis, statistical analysis in Minitab);
  • Experience with Polymers/Plastics;
  • Fluent in English.
