You appreciate contact with a wide variety of people and have a talent for building and maintaining networks.As Territory Sales Manager Surgical Technologies (ST), you’ll help deliver on the company’s mission of making healthcare better by promoting and selling the world-class Surgical Technologies products (capital and disposables). The Surgical Technologies business is a leader in operating room equipment and support, providing an efficient and safe preoperative environment for caregivers and patients.

In this interesting position, you will develop strategic approaches to optimise customer service and support the acquisition of new customers through technical and economic expertise. Essential position duties include, but are not limited to:

  • After a familiarisation phase with the product trainings, you will take over sales activities in the field for the product portfolio (Neptune 3 Waste Management System, SafeAir Smoke Evacuation Pencil) in your territory;
  • You will implement marketing and sales strategies in the sales process and conduct negotiations with surgeons, hospital administrations, medical technicians and purchasing departments;
  • You will be responsible for customer care for surgical theatre staff, hospital administration & procurement, with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation;
  • With the product knowledge you have built up, and your understanding of the healthcare economical aspect of our products, you advise and train surgical & theatre staff in its OR use during workshops;
  • Furthermore, you will prepare orders for interested customers and will also be a reliable partner for our customers during order follow-up to ensure a timely delivery date and thus a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

As a Territory Sales Manager it is expected that you have gained sales and/or marketing experience within the medical devices industry and that you are used to sell both capital- & disposable equipment. You have a strong enthusiasm for medical technology and your passion and ambition for selling innovative products with the best possible customer service is very important to you. Additionally, to succeed in this position, You appreciate contact with a wide variety of people and have a talent for building and maintaining networks.

As a suitable candidate, the following qualifications and experiences are expected:

  • You have educated yourself in the field of medical technology, health management, business administration or other science or technical career. A university degree would be an advantage;
  • You hold a valid driving license;
  • Ideally, you have experience in economic argumentation and market access activities;
  • You are experienced enough to work on your own, but also seeing the value of team-work;
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English and Swedish is required.
